At the beginning of 2021 our papayas were suffering from black spot on the leaves and fruit and our papaya trees were in bad shape.

For years we had been cultivating the land using conventional farming methods: Soil analyses, chemical fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides and things were going from bad to worse and we were at our wit's end. Then Jan Bouwman of Microlife Agricultural Products, who happens to care for the hooves of our horses led our plantation through a rehabilitation process, first establishing ground cover to keep the moisture, then short bouts of intensive grazing between the rows to control the weeds and loosen the soil while simultaneously mixing organic matter into the soil with hooves action. Then we applied Microlife LM-AM Tropical Fruit through the irrigation system and as a foliar spray.
